Team All Africa Poker heads to the
World Series Of Poker 2009
The Three and a Half Million Rand All Africa
Poker Tournament will be held from 26th February to 1st March
2009 at Swaziland's Piggs Peak Hotel and Casino. The Tournament
is a re-buy tournament which guarantees a prize pool of
R3,500,00!
The Main Event prize winner will receive One
Million Rand and one of nine 2009 World Series of Poker Packages
to the value of R150,000. Team All Africa Poker will head off to
Las Vegas where the WSOP will be held in mid 2009.
The All Africa Poker Tournament R25,000 Buy-in, (R22,000 going
to the prize pool and R3,000 for accommodation/food and beverage
package) includes One Main Event AAPT seat, a 5,000 starting
chip stack, Three nights accommodation at Orion Piggs Peak Hotel
& Casino for the player and one partner as well as all drinks
and meals in the poker room.
There are unlimited re-buys and one add-on.
Re-buys are R5,000 for 5,000 chips and the Add-on is R7,500 for
12,500 chips. 120 seats are available.
For players who share a room with another
player participating in the tournament there will be a R2,500
rebate for each player.

Shootout Tournament
There will also be a R350,000 Guaranteed Shootout Tournament
with a R3,500 Buy-in for each sit & go. Sit & Go’s start as
soon as sufficient players have been knocked out of the Main
Event. There will be ten Sit & Go’s and the R350,000
Guaranteed Shootout tournament will commence once all the
Sit & Go’s have been completed. The Prize pool will be
finalized once the Sit & Go’s have been completed There will
also be cash games through out the tournament.
